Thalia Ilace was born on October 30, 1995 in California, United States. Her mother was a CCD teacher and her father is an engineer and former navy sailor. She is the youngest of four children.At a young age, Thalia showed a passion for writing, singing and dance.During Elementary School, Thalia would write books for her dolls and short stories during her "play time". She took Gymnastics and Ice Skating lessons while also taking part in her school's Choir, Girl Scouts and Track Team. Externally she also pursued Basketball, Horseback Riding and Competitive Cheerleading. In 4th grade she won a class singing competition.At age 9, Thalia was rushed to the hospital after spiking a high fever and not eating or drinking where she was diagnosed with kidney disease.Entering Middle School, Thalia realized she wanted to become an idol after becoming enthralled with Jpop artists. She joined her school's Drama Club, performed at their talent show and continued to pursue Competitive Cheerleading more actively.When she began High School, she started singing online and pursuing voice acting - landing various roles in independent animations and fandub projects. Thalia became an officer in her High School's FFA program, going on to win an award for her Equine Study Project with her horse, Luke.After suffering from emotional and physical bullying at school, Thalia developed severe anxiety which resulted in panic attacks and dramatic weight loss. As a result of bullying and her anxiety, she transferred schools three times. She also discovered she developed liver disease as a result of the harsh medications she was on for her kidney.During this time, Thalia leaned heavily into music and writing. At the age of 16, she formed a girl group with people she'd met while singing online.The group disbanded when she was 18 due to bullying from one of the members and Thalia joined a new group called "Epic Kiss" via audition process. The group was set with a debut single and a manager, but eventually disbanded a few months later.Thalia pursued a solo career, working on an album independently before being scouted by an agency. However, nothing came of this and Thalia's album was later scrapped.She later reformed her original group with original members after the bully of the group gave a heartfelt apology. However, it was short-lived as bullying continued about a year later and the group disbanded again.Thalia then began to post fanfictions online before transitioning to originals under Webnovel in December of 2021 with The Aurelian Empire. She was quickly offered a contract and signed her first contract in January of 2022.Health issues plagued Thalia in 2022 when she injured her knee and suffered from kidney issues. As a result she took a hiatus from writing and other activities.After returning in 2023, Thalia completed her first novel - Your Paradise: Listen to My Song. She resumed singing, posting covers again. In September of 2023, she began dating fellow Webnovel author, MrFay. However, due to bullying once again, Thalia saw patchy activity as she suffered from mental health issues as a result.In 2024, Thalia came in 3rd runner up in a singing contest and announced that she had formed a new girl group called PRE:SIN with one of the members from her original girl group.The group is currently working on their debut single with Thalia as the group's lyricist. For 2025, Thalia would like to publish her children's book, write more actively, return to voice acting and venture into other activities.
